Tacky Tape®: A Legacy of Trust, Innovation, and Commitment

Tacky Tape® was trademarked in 1965 under the legacy company Schnee Morehead. In 2005, ITW acquired Schnee Morehead, headquartered in Texas, bringing Tacky Tape aerospace vacuum bagging sealant tapes into its portfolio. In 2016, the manufacturing facility at Norcross, GA became the primary plant for Tacky Tape production, where it continues to operate today. In October 2022, Holcim acquired ITW Polymers Sealants North America (PSNA) from Illinois Tool Works (ITW), bringing Tacky Tape and its legacy under Holcim’s ownership. In 2025, we evolved our logo to reflect our growth, innovation, and vision for the future. Yet, one thing has remained constant—our trusted performance and unwavering commitment to you.
